McKesson Paper Sales Quote for Customer Instructions 

Background:

• The Right of Use (ROU) agreement replaces the current SpotFire Placement agreement. 
• The current placement agreement provides instrumentation at a 100% discount and extended warranty coverage is “associated” with either an additional cost or a portion/surcharge of reagent cost. 
• ROU removes the extended warranty and only shows the cost of reagents and instrumentation. 
• No warranty costs are associated with the agreement as we maintain full ownership of the instrument and agree to maintain the system per the terms of the limited warranty for the term of the agreement. 
• ROU doesn’t apply to other BioFire products, SPOTFIRE ONLY. 

Creating the Quote: 

• Always create an opportunity in CRM first. The opportunity # is required to generate a quote in SMP. 
• All fields in the form are required. 
• The quote expiration date is 30 days from today’s date (this will be automatically calculated). 
• Use the Opportunity # for the Quote # when filling out the template. 
• Quick quotes will be rejected if the price you enter is below the minimum pricing and the correct volumes have not been entered – see below: 
  • For instruments: 
    • VC SPOTFIRE® and VC SPOTFIRE® 2 have set list prices and discount rates 
    • Limit of 2 PRU’s 
  • For FIREWORKS: 
    • The quantity can be either 0.00 or 1.00 
  • For verification kits: 
    • The quantity can be either 0.00 or 1.00 only for each 
    • No discounts 
  • For reagents: 
    • R/ST Panel – $115-$130 ($3,450-3,900) 
    • R/ST Panel Mini – $75-$99 ($2,250-2,970) 
    • • • Ensure kit volumes are consistent with terms and number of modules:  
          • 36 month commitment : 1 Module – 36 kits
          • 2 Modules – 72 kits
